Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms and Conditions", "Terms of Service", "Terms", "User Agreement") constitute a legally binding electronic agreement under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder between you ("User", "Member", "Subscriber") and Dangi Vivah ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), a registered Sole Proprietorship enterprise owned and operated by Renu Devi under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, the operator of dangivivah.com.

By accessing, browsing, registering on, or using our matrimonial portal and purchasing any premium digital memberships, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and irrevocably agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, our Cancellation & Refund Policy, and our Shipping & Delivery Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference.

These Terms are governed by and comply with the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006, and Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Payment Aggregator and Payment Gateway (PA-PG) directions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions in full, you must refrain from registering or using our platform.

To register, browse, or maintain an active account on Dangi Vivah, you must satisfy the following legal requirements:

• Legal Marriageable Age: You must be at least 21 years of age for male candidates and 18 years of age for female candidates, strictly complying with the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006. Any attempt to register a minor profile is strictly unlawful.
• Community Association: You must belong to the Dangi Samaj / Dangi community, or be registering as an authorized parent or legal guardian on behalf of an eligible prospective bride or groom belonging to the Dangi community.
• Marital Intent: The platform must be used solely with genuine matrimonial intent to discover a suitable life partner. Casual dating, commercial solicitations, or social networking are strictly disallowed.
• Marital Status: You must be legally unmarried, divorced (with a final divorce decree from a competent court), widowed, or awaiting decree. Submitting fraudulent marital status is a criminal violation.
• Legal Competency: You must be legally competent to enter into a valid, enforceable contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.

5. Account Registration, Credentials & Verification

• Truthful Disclosures: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete details regarding your age, gotra, education, profession, family background, and marital status.
• One Account Per Member: A member or family may maintain only one active profile. Duplicate, redundant, or misleading accounts will be deactivated.
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and one-time passwords (OTP). Any activity conducted through your authenticated account is presumed to be authorized by you.
• Profile Photos: Uploaded profile pictures must be recent, clear photographs of the prospective candidate only. Caricatures, celebrity images, group pictures, or obscene images are strictly prohibited and will be rejected.

Dangi Vivah is an exclusive matrimonial facilitation portal. Users agree to abide by the highest standards of dignity, mutual respect, and cultural propriety:

Dangi Vivah provides purely digital matchmaking facilitation and online matrimonial software tools.

• Delivery Timeline: Upon successful transaction authorization by PhonePe or our banking partners, your premium membership benefits and contact unlock credits are provisioned instantly (within 0 to 5 minutes).
• Zero Shipping Charges: As no physical goods, parcels, or couriers are involved, shipping costs are ₹0 (Free / Nil). Full details are available in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
• Confirmation Receipt: An electronic order confirmation with Order ID and Transaction Reference is instantly displayed on-screen and emailed to your registered address.

All refunds and cancellations are processed in accordance with our dedicated Cancellation & Refund Policy, framed under the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020:

• 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are unsatisfied with your premium membership or made an accidental purchase, you may claim a 100% refund within 7 days of payment, provided no more than 2 contact numbers have been unlocked.
• Failed Transactions: If your bank account is debited but your membership is not activated due to network errors, authorized payment partners auto-reverse the funds within 3 to 5 working days as per RBI turnaround time (TAT) standards.
• Duplicate Charges: Any duplicate transaction caused by a network glitch is refunded 100% within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment source.

The following activities are strictly prohibited on Dangi Vivah and will trigger immediate account suspension, permanent termination without refund, and potential reporting to law enforcement:

11. Intermediary Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• Indian Laws: These Terms and Conditions and any payment disputes shall be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
• Jurisdiction: Subject to mutual good-faith dispute mediation, the competent courts situated at Ranchi, Jharkhand, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any legal claim or dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.
